Premises Liability

Frith Anderson & Peake regularly assists clients in premises liability claims. The firm has represented commercial and private property owners, landlords, lessees, property management companies, hospitals, nursing homes, retail establishments and other individuals and entities across the region in a broad range of premises cases.  The claims we have defended range from typical “slip-and-fall” cases, to fires, explosions, and structural collapses. Cases have also included claims of defective or faulty design of a portion of the premises, inadequate security, and improper maintenance of the physical plant.

In addition to the standard fall on commercial premises cases, our attorneys have successfully defended against claims by trespassers, invitees, and licensees.  We have also successfully defended against claims that the client is responsible for the criminal acts of others on the client’s premises.
